Privacy policy

Pure Joy PGM ("we") makes the games Mining Maniac and Shipping Supereme and the Unity editor tool Component Organizer. This policy explains what personal information we handle and why. We follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, for players in the EU and UK, the GDPR.

This website

This site has no accounts, forms, cookies, analytics or advertising. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site, under the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Component Organizer

Component Organizer runs entirely inside the Unity Editor on your computer. It makes no network connections and collects no data. Your purchase is handled by Unity under the Unity privacy policy; Unity shares your invoice number and name with publishers so we can verify support requests.

Our games

Games sold on Steam are distributed by Valve. Steam handles your account, payment, achievements and cloud saves under the Steam privacy policy. We receive only the aggregate sales and usage reports that Steam gives every developer, which do not identify you.

Our games save your progress and settings on your own device (and in Steam Cloud if you enable it). They do not collect personal information, show advertising or include third-party analytics. If a future version adds optional crash reporting, it will ask first and this policy will be updated before that version is released.

When you email us

If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you. We keep support email for up to two years, then delete it. We never sell or share it.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@purejoypgm.com. You may also complain to South Africa's Information Regulator or your local data protection authority.
